To kick things off, all-girl punk band Molotov Cunts from Lucerne and queer-punk band Trholz from Toulouse, France, opened the show. Both bands brought a high-energy riot grrrl spirit to the stage, creating an upbeat, wild atmosphere.

Corokia then delivered a beautifully emotional and compelling performance that slowly absorbed the venue. Rather than arriving with a sudden spectacle, they built their presence gradually, drawing the audience in through tone and mood.

During their song Security, they amped up the power, with singer Luana launching herself into the mosh pit.The alternative rock/grunge band formed in November 2023, with their first gig marking the beginning of a steady creative evolution. One of their early milestones came in December 2025, when the current lineup, consisting of Luana (vocals, guitar), Marius (guitar), Saskia (bass), and Kilian (drums) opened for Simia Sapiens at KiFF in Aarau, a moment that helped cement their growing live reputation.

While every performance carries significance for an emerging band still shaping its identity, the release of its first EP, every fragment of this dream, stands out as a particularly defining step forward, capturing the core of what they are beginning to build.

Corokia lean into themes of mental health struggles, toxic relationships, political injustice and deep inner worlds. What makes the performance resonate is not just the subject matter itself, but the way it is delivered. Luana’s vocals carry a vulnerable and yearning quality, often soft and fragile at first, then progressively tightening with intensity as the songs unfold. The band’s instrumental chemistry keeps the songs constantly engaging, shifting naturally between quieter, dreamy passages and explosive choruses and breakdowns.

The crowd itself couldn’t let up on that intensity, as there was hardly a person standing still in the room. By the end of the set, people were hollering for one more song, and the band answered with Masochist, leaving the place still buzzing with energy.

Corokia’s debut EP every fragment of this dream is available on Bandcamp and is well worth a listen.
