When American singer-songwriter Chris Staples picks up his guitar, things get quiet – but never silent. With his new album Don’t Worry, he brings his delicately floating melodies and poetic observations of everyday life to the X-TRA Musikcafé in Zurich on 18 October 2025.
After years on the road—from Florida to Washington—Staples has finally found a place of peace in Richmond, Virginia. There, among the animals in the garden and the slow rhythms of the morning, he created a work that is more than just music: a collection of sensitive moments, memories, encounters and the courage to be silent.
