With a freshly brewed coffee, the Weekly5 is always a great way to kick-start your Sunday morning with a burst of energy. But this week, you don’t necessarily need a caffeine boost, because either the tracks will tempt you to roll around in the sheets a bit longer (and yes, that’s meant quite excplicitly). Or they’ll catapult you straight out of bed and onto the dance floor.

Alwa Alibi – Killer

Conveying a nonchalant self-assurance, Swiss artist Alwa Alibi delivers an undeniably exquisite track with Killer, one that even manages to win over people like me, whose hip-hop game is rather weak. These precise punchlines, carved out of an ethereal R&B composition with the precision of a surgeon’s scalpel, are brutally addictive. As are the smooth transitions between rapid-fire phrasings and seductively expansive textures.
