Wiped Out salutes those who didn’t give up despite hitting rock bottom. It’s a story of disorientation, of the frenzy of the night and of hopelessness. But it’s also a story of survival, of the light on the horizon, of overcoming adversity. ‘But I found a way to ride that wave in me.’

Behind it all is Bernhard Pausch, an Austrian musician who, together with drummer Danny Weber, has poured Wiped Out into a gripping rock track. It’s a tribute to the history of sound, but at the same time, it’s not a cheap knock-off, but an electrifying number with a Britpop flair and a catchy sing-along chorus.

And it's alright now
'Cause it's all wiped out

The video for the song, produced by Bernhard Pausch himself on a shoestring budget, spins around in circles until you feel dizzy. A visual interpretation of the message celebrating its premiere today exclusively with Negative White:

Wiped Out is part of Red Ocean’s second EP, Mad For It, which was released on 22 August. Six crisp, punchy rock tracks that seamlessly blend coolness and substance—and can also take you by surprise.
