Fabienne Schmuki with special honour

Over the past 15 years, Fabienne Schmuki has had a lasting impact on the Swiss music scene. As co-CEO of the Zurich-based Irascible office, she was responsible for the company’s strategic direction and, together with her team, provided significant impetus in the areas of PR and A&R. “Her expertise helped bring numerous independent artists to the fore, including many acts that gained new attention thanks to her meticulous and forward-thinking work,” writes IndieSuisse in its press release.

Schmuki’s commitment extended beyond day-to-day business: in 2014, she was the sole FLINTA co-founder of the industry association indieSuisse, where she served on the board until the end of 2025. She was also involved with Helvetiarockt and in various working groups on equality and sustainability within the European indie association IMPALA.

Following the sale of her stake in Irascible and her resignation from her association role, Fabienne Schmuki has taken on a new senior position at Swiss Music Export.
