Good News Productions AG, one of Switzerland’s larger concert and show organisers, will become an official partner of „KulturLegi“ on 1 July 2025. Holders of a KulturLegi will receive a 30% discount on selected concerts from Good News’ programme, Good News and Caritas wrote in a joint press release.

They further state that the partnership’s goal is to make it easier for everyone to access high-quality live events and to actively promote cultural participation, regardless of social status and income.

The discounted events will be published on an ongoing basis at goodnews.ch/kulturlegi. Tickets are available in advance at ticketcorner.ch. KulturLegi users select the „KulturLegi“ promotion when purchasing and simply verify their membership number and date of birth.

After a successful pilot project with Die Toten Hosen, who’ll play next summer at Zurich’s Letzigrund Stadium, Good News will now implement the partnership on a long-term basis.

„We are now the first major event organiser in Switzerland to announce a permanent collaboration for greater cultural participation in Switzerland. We look forward to this next step and to welcoming even more people to our events,“ explains Good News’ Managing Director Christian Gremelmayr. So far, larger concerts and show experiences have often been inaccessible to KulturLegi holders.

„We are delighted about this partnership,“ says Andreas Bruggmann, Head of KulturLegi Zurich and member of the management board of KulturLegi Switzerland. „It sends a strong signal for greater cultural equality.“

KulturLegi, a service provided by the Swiss branch of the non-profit network Caritas, enables people with limited budgets to receive discounted access to cultural, sporting, and educational activities. Over 197,000 people across Switzerland benefit from this initiative, including many families, single parents, unemployed people and people with health restrictions. With over 4,200 partner institutions throughout Switzerland, KulturLegi is one of the most successful instruments for social inclusion in the cultural sector.
